Quick Updates

Weather Conditions

Season: Autumn

With the cooling season of Autumn, Ice-types are starting to re-emerge from their hibernation as Ghost-, Normal-, and Flying-types swarm in the largest numbers they will all year. In comparison, wild Fire- and Bug-type populations are falling in number. The migration of Flying-types to the south in search of warmer weather has also started, as Istin City starts to re-freeze and Autumn marks the beginning of Cypwater Point's rainy season. Handlers and Rogues alike should be wary: Ghost-type powers are boosted during this season, at the cost of being more prone to their triggers.

Mantyke/Mantine
In Harper, the requirements to evolve Mantyke are the same as in the game: the player must have a remoraid in the party, or at least captured in a pokeball, then level up Mantyke in order to trigger an evolution. After it has finished evolving, Remoraid is no longer necessary and may be kept or disposed at will.

Remoraid are common pokemon which can be caught in decently-deep waters, or purchased at a market. All that is required for a remoraid to work is that it has at least one HP or is still alive. (Pokeballs hold wounded pokemons in stasis, and Remoraid does not have to be outside to evolve Mantyke.)

Remoraid are available for rent in any Harper's Passion buildings as part of the evolution-aiding services.
Pancham/Pangoro
Pancham will evolve into Pangoro starting at level 32 if there is a dark-type in the party at the same time as itself, preferably one with which it has some influential contact or camaraderie with. Otherwise, the evolution may have a chance at failing to trigger.

If both pokemon are at 7-10 happiness bars, any attempts to evolve are automatically successful.
Inkay/Malamar
Inkay will evolve into Malamar starting at level 30, and it will know to stand on its head to complete its evolution. Players do not need to interfere unless they wish to.
Slowpoke/Slowbro and Beldum/Metang/Metagross
In Harper, the shell which becomes Slowbro's tail is generally thought to be the result of a shellder the slowpoke ate before it evolved. It does not actually need one to bite its tail in order to do so, though that is possible. Either way, they evolve at level 30 with no special benefits.

Beldum simply divide into two beldums' worth upon evolution and do not actually require the joining of two pokemon. The same goes for Metagross. They also honor the same catch rate as in-game and, unless one is coming with you willingly, is unlikely to be successfully captured with a basic pokeball.
Vivillons
There are five varieties of Vivillons in Harper, and where they are found depend on the area where they came from.

Differences between vivillons are only aesthetic.
